GoKarts and Golf

On New Years Eve, the kids and I met our friends Jenna and Ryan for some go-kart and putt-putt fun.  I was worried about how Kevin would do on his own, since he's never done this himself before.  But he did great and LOVED it!  He only had 1 mishap where the guy had to come pull him off the siderail.  These are mini go-karts that go around a small track and pretty slow.  They had bigger go carts that I could drive 1 kid around; that went fast, on a cool track with hills, tunnels, and a bridge.  After taking that ride, he hated to go back to the mini's. 

Caroline had fun, but was probably a little to big for these and got annoyed with some of the little kids on the course.  She was still too short though to ride the big go-karts on her own.

Then on to putt-putt. This was pretty boring and the kids all stunk at it, so they lost interest and went back to the go-karts before we headed to lunch.

Kevin had more fun than the others on golf, but still lost interest.  He was just hacking away and not paying attention.  Oh well.  We still had a fun time.
