I thought this was a cool picture of the girls listening to their coach. They are all sitting backs to the parents, except Caroline is standing in the center.
Here is a picture of Caroline taking on the "A" team. She played awesome. She scored a goal and her "B" team beat their in-club rivals!
Last weekend, Caroline's soccer team had the opportunity to be ball girls for the Lady UNF soccer game vs Stetson University. She is down on the track with her friend Logan, waiting to retrieve the ball.
After the win, the team came by to give the girls high fives.
The kids have been playing a lot of Legos together. Here is one of their creations - bunk beds! Both kids also participate in a Lego class after school one day a week. Kevin was placed in the 3rd - 5th grade class. I had thought that since he was so young and didn't know anyone, that he'd stick like glue to Caroline. Not so. He sits with a couple older boys and does his own thing. He doesn't have any trouble at all in the higher level Lego class!
Kevin brought home a paper doll to dress up like his favorite storybook character, who he will also dress up as for his Halloween parade at school. He made Spitta from Ninjago. He did a great job! All I did, was trace the bigger pieces, cut the pipe cleaners and black string (they were hard), and cut out the little pieces for the eyes. Kevin cut out the bigger pieces, designed the project, and glued everything together.
The kids were outside playing today. Caroline came running in asking for plastic bags so they could play parachute. I went out to check on them and found them having a ball, jumping off the shed.
Caroline joined the jump rope club before school. She has so much fun. After the first day, she came home and practiced for hours. She got so that she could cross the jump rope. Since then, she's been able to jump into a long rope that is already moving. Next step - Double Dutch!
