Fun with Friends

The kids have had a fun few months with their friends.  Here are Kevin and Michael at the park.

Kevin finally had his first sleepover at our house.  Paolo came over.  Yum  Tacos for dinner!

Now it's time for bed.  The boys insisted on sleeping in their sleeping bags.  So cute!  Sleepover #1 was a success!

Caroline and Isabelle were going to Emma Kate's birthday/sleepover.  Emma Kate loves to wear her Ugg boots, so the girls found a recipe to make a pink Ugg cake.  They used pound cake, donuts, icing, crushed cookies, melted starburst, pull and peel twizzlers, and I'm sure plenty of other sweets.  The cake was a success in the making, but didn't last the transport to the party. It's the thought that counts!

For Noah's birthday, he invited Kevin and Paolo to go see the new X-Men movie, then on to the Mellow Mushroom for lunch and cupcakes for dessert. 

Emma Kate spent the night at our house and the girls wanted to make pizza.  Here is Caroline with her pesto pizza and Emma Kate with her pepperoni.  They had some extra dough and made a chocolate/marshmallow pizza. They ate it all!

We headed down to World Golf to see the new National Parks IMAX movie.  After lunch we went to Palencia to the pirate park.  Unfortunately they tore down the pirate ship and put some regular equipment in its place.  Kevin still had fun on the tire swing.

Avery joined us.  Caroline was afraid she was going to hit her head on the post.  At first I thought she was crazy, then she came close a couple times and I eased up on the pushing!

After a long day of golf camp, the kids invited their friends to go to the pool and then back to our house for pizza for the girls, Wendy's for the boys, and play.  It was nice to see them all playing Telestrations together.  I think this is our favorite game.  Thank you Patrick and Monica!
