Turkey Trot 6K

Thanksgiving morning we got up super early to run the Turkey Trot. It is a 6K that is run not too far from our house. It was pitch black out and the full moon was still shining bright.  Ignore the toilet sign I caught in the background.

Caroline ran the race with Blake and Coach Kandis. 

The girls had a great run.

Caroline came in 3rd place in her age group, which happened to be as a 45 year old woman!  Blake gave Caroline the race bib and chip from her stepmom, who couldn't run because she got called into work.  Caroline's race time qualified Marsha for a good starting position at the Gate River Run.  She doesn't usually run that fast!
