Easter Sunday

Happy Easter!  Not surprising to any of us, the kids were up way before 7 and had found their baskets.  They were just waiting for us to get our lazy old bones out of bed.  Kevin was excited that his basket was full of Pokemon cards and Nerf guns...and CANDY!!!!

Caroline received a special surprise - tickets to the Women's World Cup in Winnipeg!  The Easter Bunny didn't really think this thing through.  Caroline was ready to text and call all of her teammates to see if they received World Cup tickets too.  We are all going to Canada! Uh oh!  This led to questions about whether there is more than one Easter Bunny?  Why does our Easter Bunny bring some things, while another brings something else?  Ugh. This led to parenting like a psychologist.  Why do you think this?  What do you think about that?...  Hard parenting conversation delayed at least 8 more months.
