We've had some interesting goings on with the kids that isn't sports related. Caroline has started losing teeth again. She lost one on the bottom on the 9th.
And another on the 16th. The tooth fairy has been busy coming to our house!
We went to Katelyn's 4th birthday party that had a Hotel Transylvania theme. Caroline was a good helper. Here she is helping to turn the little 3-4 year olds into mummies.
Over the Christmas break the kids had Martin Luther King, Jr projects to do. Kevin had to create a poster and Caroline had to write an essay. They both turned out great. Caroline even was one of the winners from the school for her essay!
This week Kevin had an American Museum at school. He was assigned to be the Bald Eagle. He had to research it and make a poster, which he did 95% of on his own. It turned out great.
He also needed a costume. That one was on me. I looked on Pinterest and found a cute no-sew costume. A lot of cutting feathers and a lot of glue-gunning later, Kevin had a super cute bald eagle costume.
Today the kids had their living museum. All of the first grade kids were assigned various American symbols, historical figures, and monuments. Other grades walked through and looked at the costumes and posters, and asked the kids questions about their projects. Here are Kevin and his buddy Evan (the White House) posing for a quick picture. The kids all did a great job.
Here is his class. Super cute.
