Kevin's class had a special Thanksgiving feast with his neighboring class at school. They put out a huge spread of popcorn, marshmallows, raisins, banana chips, pretzels... They all shared what they were thankful for. It was very sweet. At the same time that day, Caroline's class had their own Thanksgiving celebration where they read and made Stone Soup. Each kid brought in a food item and they added it to the pot. I came in early to help with the cooking, but could not stay to enjoy the tasting. Caroline said it was tasty and even went up for seconds!
Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Brian came down from Tennessee to celebrate Thanksgiving. On Friday, we headed down to Washington Oaks Gardens to get some exercise and fresh air. Of course Kevin found a rock. This time with a hole that he could crawl through.
We took a nice little walk around the grounds.
The kids stopped to smell the roses.
