Today we ventured deep into Gator Country. Caroline and I took Aunt Vicki and Grace to visit the Butterfly Garden in
Gainesville. The visit to the garden and the museum were lots of fun.
The girls had fun looking at all the butterflies and flowers. They would point out their finds in the field guide.
Then we walked through the museum. Look at the huge
mastodon!
They also had a special butterfly exhibit. The girls had fun walking through the maze getting their cards stamped, walking and crawling like caterpillars, and standing in their own
cocoon.
And the finally... a butterfly zip cord. How fun is that?!
Unfortunately Grace got sick on the way home. Hopefully she gets better soon and none of the rest of us gets it.
