Just because school has started, doesn't mean that we have stopped our beach trips. We went to the beach for the first time since Fay hit last week. A lot of the beach is gone and what is left is covered by tiny shell pieces. We had to look a while to find a good spot to set up.
The kids had fun playing in the sand with their toys. Kevin even ventured in a bit.
The loss of the beach made water play tough - there was a big dropoff just a few feet away.
Tom and the kids have also developed a new game outside. Caroline and Kevin race down the patio. Caroline always wins, but Kevin starts out fast!
