Pool, Beach, and Disney Fun

Kevin got to go to the swimming pool for the first time this year. Finally! He's seen Caroline at swimming lessons and has desperately wanted to go and have his own fun. He finally got to at Aunt Vicki's house. He had a ball. He enjoyed splashing, kicking and even running around the pool deck area - searching for rocks. Caroline feels comfortable enough swimming with her Ariel float suit that Aunt Susan got her last year. She still is scared to swim on her own, but loves to jump in and swim with help.

We also got to go to the beach with Aunt Leslie, Mr. Walls (Leslie's Dad) and Michael. While fun, Kevin is still eating sand. Caroline does a great job helping the little ones and especially Mommy. She also loves to play in the ocean and play in the sand.
Wednesday and Thursday, I thought I would be smart and go to Disney before all the kids got out of school. I thought that there would be no one there because who would take their kids out of school at the end of the year? Everyone I guess. The lines were so long and Kevin wanted no part of them. We didn't get to do too much, but loved the hotel we stayed in. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The room had bunk beds (Caroline loved to play in the top bunk, but not to sleep in it). The pool was humongous, had a beach entrance and best of all.... a WATERSLIDE. Caroline loved the waterslide. They had life vests, so she just kept going again and again and again. The other cool thing about the hotel was that it had animal viewing areas. They had giraffe, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, and various deer. Very awesome! We want to go back again soon.
